SCMA's primary strength comes from the commitment of its member companies. The owners, chief executive officers and plant managers of these companies are leaders in South Carolina communities, churches, school boards, local and state boards and commissions, civic clubs, and charitable organizations.
Knowing its members are well-respected leaders in their communities across the state, SCMA can rely on grass-roots lobbying as the most effective method for advising the South Carolina General Assembly of legislative measures that benefit the majority of its constituency.
Committees, Divisions, and Councils
Active committees, divisions, and councils afford Alliance member companies opportunities to engage in cooperative learning, pool resources, and work together toward mutual solutions. Proactive planning groups enable South Carolina's manufacturers to increase their influence on the state's government and society. These committees, divisions, and councils support the involvement of all the members of the Alliance through active participation and policy development.
SCMA Committees Include:
• Human Resources
